The Bible Project needs your input!

At Classroom.Bible, a new learning experience is being offered by the creators of The Bible Project. Classroom offers expert teachings on the Bible, preparing students to understand and teach the Bible with greater clarity.

As a beta site, the creators are inviting students to experience Classroom and share feedback, making the platform as effective and accessible as possible.

Classes

For example, currently offered is the Jonah class, with two options available: a 1-2 hour primer of Jonah, or a month-long experience for students wanting a seminary-level classroom experience.

Like all educational opportunities by The Bible Project, founded by old friends Tim Mackie and Jon Collins, the Classroom.Bible offerings will be available online and free for all.

Unprecedented

The Bible Project exists to help people experience the Bible as a unified story that leads to Jesus, and they’re embracing technology and creativity to achieve unprecedented results. With more than 1.2 million subscribers on YouTube and over 90 million total views on their videos, this group is changing how people experience the Scriptures. As reported by Christianity Today:

“This Portland-based animation studio is seeing unprecedented success in an age of biblical illiteracy.”

Short, Memorable Domain

An online classroom teaching the Bible can’t obtain clearer online branding than Classroom.Bible! This memorable and clear domain name strongly positions this endeavor by The Bible Project as a premier Bible classroom destination for—of course, the Bible.

Paperless

Most helpful is the new “Bible reader” function. Like other sites, Classroom.Bible offers the Scriptures online. But unique to this experience is the option for tailoring the view to your preferences. For instance, the Bible Reader feature allows users to:

  • Highlight, bookmark or add notes to any section of Scripture.
  • Adjust the font size, type, and background color.
  • Choose your content preference from word-for-word, thought-for-thought or paraphrased.

Of course, when you login to the system, your preferences are saved.
